Kerbaol triumphs at the 2024 Tre Valli Varesine Women's Race
Cedrine Kerbaol (CERATIZIT-WNT Pro Cycling Team) claimed victory at the 2024 Tre Valli Varesine Women’s Race, crossing the finish line in Varese after a rain-soaked race that forced organizers to shorten the course by one lap. The French rider attacked with Silvia Persico (UAE Team ADQ) at 10 km from the finish and then dropped the Italian at 4000 meters to win solo. Persico was caught by Liane Lippert (Movistar Team) in the final stretch but managed to win the sprint for second place, 13 seconds behind the winner. The chasing group arrived 41 seconds later, led by Eleonora Camilla Gasparrini (UAE Team ADQ), while Monica Trinca Colonel (Bepink-Bongioanni) and Erica Magnaldi (UAE Team ADQ) finished in seventh and ninth place, respectively.
